Panorama Environmental, Inc. is a global environmental consulting firm focused on environmental review and permitting for energy and infrastructure projects. For over 30 years our team of environmental planners and scientists have been assisting agency staff and private entities in defining baseline conditions, conducting environmental reviews under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and obtaining permits for projects such as renewable and traditional energy; natural gas pipelines and underground storage; roads, bridges, and other public works; water infrastructure, including dams, pipelines, flood control and local development projects in the western U.S., Caribbean, East Africa, and South America. We are seeking an Environmental Analyst to work in the San Francisco office.

Responsibilities

The Environmental Analyst (EA) is responsible for providing support and assistance to the Environmental Planners, Project Managers, and project teams for the successful tracking, coordination, administrative maintenance, and completion of Panorama projects and company operations.

  • Under the direction of a Project Manager, conducts research, prepares technical documents, and meeting notes.
  • Supports Sales and Marketing by preparing blogs, social media posts, and assists with the preparation of proposals.
  • Provides support for project teams, while prioritizing billable work, compiling budgets, researching topics to include in the scope of work, keeping assignments on schedule.

Qualifications

Education: B.S. Degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Studies, Biology, Hydrology, Geology, Natural Resources or other related disciplines. GPA over 3.5.

  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Basic proficiency in CEQA and NEPA process and regulatory requirements
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong work ethic and dedication
  • Technology and social media savvy

Personality: We are looking for a team player who collaborates well with Project Managers, Office Staff and subcontractors and is proactive in seeking out work and meeting deadlines. Enthusiasm and a healthy sense of fun are important. Attention to detail and excellent memory are critical to advancement.

Must have a valid California driver’s license and satisfactorily pass a pre-employment background and motor vehicle check.
