The 3150 California Street Project is a school addition project and is located on an approximately 20,000-square-foot project site at 3150 California Street in San Francisco. The project site is the current location of the San Francisco University High School (SFUHS) business office, a retail pet food store, and other administrative office spaces. The proposed project includes the removal of the existing surface parking lot and demolition of the existing structure and construction of a new 3 three story building. The building would include cultural, institutional, and education use facilities, as well as open space. The building would include a mix of science and general education classrooms, a “maker” space, a student center, multi-court athletic facilities, food service, faculty and administrative offices, and 48 bicycle parking spaces. A rooftop terrace would be established above the rear-northern side of the third floor to provide students and faculty with access to common outdoor space.
