Panorama prepared the Imperial County Conditional Use Permit application and technical studies for the Hell’s Kitchen PoewrCo 1 and LithiumCo 1 Projects. The projects include development of 49.9MW of geothermal power and lithium and other polymetallic product extraction from the geothermal brine in Imperial Valley. The project is located within areas that were previously inundated by the Salton Sea. Panorama was responsible for developing the CUP technical studies including biological resources, cultural resources, Phase I Environmental Site Assessment, air quality and greenhouse gas analysis, and traffic analysis reports. Panorama was also responsible for obtaining permits and approvals for the initial well pad used for geothermal resource exploration.
