Pit River Tribe Outpatient Healthcare Facility NEPA Review

Panorama is assisting the Pit River Health Services (PRHS) with NEPA support services for the construction of a new approximately 13,000 square foot Tribal Health Clinic and renovation of the existing Tribal Health Clinic on the Pit River Tribe’s Reservation in Burney, CA. The PRHS proposes to construct the new clinic to provide services to people living in the tri-county area of the northeast part of northern California. The Pit River Tribe is adjacent to the main clinic in Burney. The new clinic would provide a comprehensive, well-coordinated “continuum of care” medical and dental services delivery systems. The facility will be designed to provide an expansion of current Primary Care and Dental services, as well as facilities for Pharmacy, Optometry, Radiology, and expanded lab services which are currently not offered. The PRHS is seeking financing assistance from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Economic Development Loan Program to construct the Project, thereby making it a federal action subject to the review under NEPA, the National Historic Preservation Act, and all applicable federal environmental laws and regulations. The Panorama team is preparing the NEPA Environmental Assessment, including supporting documentation for biological resources and cultural resources.
