Yolo OHV Feasibility Study

Panorama, in collaboration with SMG Consulting and TriplePoint, prepared a regional off-highway vehicle (OHV) park study for Yolo County. The first phase of the study included a market analysis and feasibility study to assess the overall demand and market for OHV riding in Yolo County. The first phase included conducting the foundational research and identification of the tools necessary for designing, siting, and estimating the economic feasibility of OHV park development. The second phase of the project included identifying two potential OHV park developments and providing a detailed description of the parks, costs, and environmental process and permitting needed to develop these parks. A specific gateway park was considered that would allow for increased access to the Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument and Knoxville Recreation Area. The second park would be a stand-alone, approximately 350 acre self-contained OHV park. Panorama assisted in all aspects of the research and the preparation of the reports, as well as organized and led public and agency meetings.
